CNY Shopping, Premium Outlets + Todak lunch treat

Chinese New Year is just around the corner, coming early next year. So the Tucson Owners Club is also planning early for a one-day shopping trip to get some festive goodies from Johor.
It’s a three-in-one event. First, to the huge Tesco hypermarket in Pasir Gudang for CNY goodies, then to the nearby Todak Seafood Village for a free CNY lunch treat, and lastly to the newly opened Johor Premium Outlets for branded products at factory prices.

Date: 14 January 2012
Time: 8am to 5pm
Meeting point: Gelang Patah Petronas petrol station.

As usual, please make your reservations early because we have to confirm the number of heads with the restaurant.
Closing date for confirmed reservations: 7 Jan 2012 (Sat) at 12 midnight.
Email your confirmation, including the number of pax, to our committee member John Koh at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
The free lunch treat at Todak in Taman Mega Ria is only for TOC members and their immediate family members (i.e. wives and children). And the maximum is five persons per car.
The last time we ate the Todak was in July 2010 when about 20 Tucsons and 80 people had a fabulous seafood dinner. Can the turnout be bigger this time round?
